i mentioned around a month ago that i was after a revo 3.3 well it arrived today i bought it off fleebay about 10 days ago it needs stripping down and cleaning as it got mud and crap allover.
also i thought the revos had reverse ? mine doesnt seem to have this... mines model 5309
all i need now is the alias rear tyres for my rustler so i can take the crappy anaconda's off

i wouldnt part with my rustler now its a great model and loads of fun with the rear end snaking allover the place
im glad i got rid of the menace 21 to get the revo allthough the menace was stupidly quick it didnt put a smile on my face like the rustler does or like the revo did this morning in my local woods :D

yeh mate dont blame you, i think the rustler is one of the best looking st's around and being traxxas you dont have to worry about quality :clap:

the revo and t-maxx are beasts, they handle nearly everything you throw at it, ive had my t-maxx 4 years now and its still going strong. got to love 4wd for massive off-roading B)

I've got a rustler, and what a hoot it is. Can't beat fighting a 2wd car.

see if the centre dif has been fitted as an upgrade i am sure you have to do away with reverse with it ;)

Menance 21's are great but you cannot get hold of them at all now since Schumacher discontinued them.

Its a shame now because everyone wants one now and ebayers are charging more than you can sell it for so everyone has caught on to the need.

I have messed about with a menace 21 but not a revo Yet :( so it would be good to compare them.

thought id put a few new pics of my revo up ive changed the rear wing put sum 40 series wheels with bow-tie tyres and fitted a picco p2 .26 max last week

haha i realised that when i updated my pics the wheels were to cheap to pass up on ebay only £9 posted ill be changing my shell in the next week im either getting the new green revo shell or a proline shell. :thumbs_up:

what engine is in yours russ ?

its looking good. do you still have EZ srtart system or do you use a Bump Box B)

ive got it on a pullstart the ez-start didnt stand a chance of turning it over with the amount of compression even now after a few tanks im having to loosen the plug to pullstart the thing.

Nah, mines got an Orion .28 in, with tuned race pipe. Oh and that goes down the side, not the back.

just a few more pics of my revo with its new side pipe after hearing about (russminis) side pipe i went with the hong-nor 053 pipe and the improvement in performance is quite noticeable... the rear pipe must have been realy restrictive







the only problem im having now is the joint in picture 2 is blowing... this may sound silly to the more expierienced person but do i need a rubber seal in there ?
the joint on the block itself has the small rubber gasket and a big-block gasket i got 2 big-block gaskets and tried putting the other on the connection thats leaking but it was too thick

Yeh, it is a bitch, because the manifold needs to be slightly wider. I cut mine and had a bit welded in ;)

And the front screw that holds the radio tray in, if you undo it slightly, then bend the wire around that and tighten it back up, you can then bend to suit to hold the front of the pipe ;)

I also cut the shell out, save's it melting once the pipe gets proper hot and melting all over it...

made a mount for the pipe now... it looks alot more neater where you said to put it russ
all i need to get now is the seal for the pipe and then im all set for the tm bash next wk :thumbs_up:
