Title: Charge Time

neil1983 - February 7, 2010 04:23 PM (GMT)
I bought this and I've got a couple of small questions
http://rc-racing.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=11366

It came with a charger with a 30 min timer on, what I'd like to know is how long should charge the car for and how long should the battery last?

I've charged it on one 30 min chare and when using it, it lasted approx 15-20 min before the car starts to slow. Is this normal or can I charge it more after the 30mins is up?

The battery thats in it is a tamiya 1400scr, but I also got a dyna-fun 1500 with it as well but haven't tried it.

No worries mate, its always best to ask if you not sure :)

If i was you though mate i would 100% buy some better batteries, batteries with a higher Mah rating will take longer to charge but you will have a much longer run time, with say using a 3700+mah battery..

heres a good battery mate for a great price

buy that and your run times will nearly double
