Title: My T Maxx....pics and spec

markyd3 - February 10, 2010 02:18 PM (GMT)
Hi Guys,

Ive been a member on here for a little while now so thought it was about time i posted up some pics etc of my Maxx.....

I have had the Maxx for about 6 years now….

It was originally a 2.5 but over the years I have spent a small fortune on it lol!!

Now I know full well that all the alloy parts don’t help with speed etc etc but I didn’t build this truck to win races or anything…in fact most of the upgrades have been done out of boredom and its very rarely used!! Lol but I did really want the truck to look nice hence why I added all the alloy parts…. each to their own as they say!!!!!

I also have a T-Maxx 2.5R which is completely standard and goes like a rocket!!!

The spec is as follows and as I can remember….

Transmitter – KO Propo Esprit II Vantage Type R with a Spektrum 2.4GHZ conversion

Throttle Servo – KO Propo PDS-2363 ICS
Steering Servo – KO Propo PDS – 2366 ICS
Engine – O.S. Max-21 RG
FOC Conversion
Rotostart conversion
Alloy parts mainly by Racing TMS and a couple of Integy parts.
Alloy shocks (can’t remember what brand)
1600mah 6v Hump pack
Venom Speed Meter
Venom Temperature gauge
Robinson racing Brake
Proline higher capacity fuel tank
Jumbo Maxx diamond chrome wheels
Full roll cage
XTM racing exhaust with Roose motorsport silicone elbow
K&N Air filter

I run it on Byron Race Gen2 fuel but only 16% to save the engine.

that has to be the longest rc air-filter ive seen in my life

Bet thats ted tuff, and handles big jumps like planned

We also put a bit off alloy on our maxx's, all helps with strength :)

HAPPY BASHING MATE :rc_car:

LOL

I thought if i positioned the air filter at the front of the truck it would suck in colder air which would be better for the engine.... that was my theory anyway!! lol

Well at least you won't be recycling exhaust fumes, but an open intake for forced air might help, have to retune at top end though :D
