Hi mate welcome to the site

Do wheelsspins models have the bits you need?

Wheelspin models are useless though! I wouldn't use them unless you really really had to! :-P

wheelspin models are useless, there only down the road from me and are completely ignorant when ever i go into the store, they have some of the parts i need but not all, they just usualy check out my nitro car ( i got it realy cheap for what it is) and comment on things about it tell me what its worth an walk off, leaving me at the counter with my car looking like a complete retard, one of the people in there tryed get me to buy a starter box for £85 and i went a few weeks later and the new guy said i only need one for a 1/10th scale for £36

one person there said the car i have shouldn't of been sold,
my car is a:
Team Losi XXX-NT ADAM DRAKE EDITION
collari .12 xs engine
drake tuned exhaust and manifold
HPI High Torque servo's
titanium turnbuckles
rechargable battery pack
aluminium shock towers
aluminium large shocks - with quick adjust suspension
graphite suspension arms
auminium Slipper Shaft/Gear
aluminium monster diff
kevlar spur slipper gear
it did come with a Ansmann W3 2.4Ghz Receiver, but for some reason it didnt work so i put in the receiver out of my schumacher rascal into it
with some custom home made parts (the person i brought it off made them)
i only paid £51 for it off ebay a few months ago, but i had a small argument with the person i brought it off and they will not reply to any of my messages

Yep, that sounds like a tipical Wheelspin cenareo to me! They don't care about you unless you are handing them money!

I cancelled my order the other day via email, which is the way they told me to do it, i rang them up yesterday when they told me my item has been dispatched, and he asked for me email address so he could find the email i sent them, he say 'ah yes, just found it, let me put you on hold to ask someone else whats happening' 3-4 minuites later 'Hello, we have not recieved and email from you saying that you would like to cancel your order' So i said okay fine, i'll just refuse to sign for the item, so when you get it back you can give me my money back!

The only thing is, they are good at getting parts from america and stuff!

when i first took in my xxxnt they called a big fat bloke in, he started valuing my car and said its over £600 worth of stuff, a real nitro racer, he started goin on about he used to race the xxxnt's, an then he started saying it should be run ever few days.. and it shouldnt of been for sale, the person who sold it me knew what he was doing when he used to race it, and if anything he should not of sold it to a novis like me. once he said the bloke shouldnt of sold it me i wanted to smash his teeth in cause the whole time he kept looking down at me as if im a pile of sh*t. at the time the car had my x18 pullstart engine out of my schumacher rascal in it cause i couldnt afort a starter box to get the collari .12 running.

i prefered it when they used to have a small shop, cause atm there showroom is in a big warehouse, but before they were in a small corner shop, when they were smll, they wern't stuck up there own arse's, and back in the small shop some of the staff didn't even think about trying to insult my acsent (im a yam yam, simerlar to a brummie but different)

Technically anybody that deals with Horizon Hobby should be able to get you the parts, the xxx-nt uses a monster ball diff that is adjustable by locking one diff cup and winding the other one, when i owned my xxx-nt it was always melting the balls into the plastic gear they are housed in but that was usually due to me pulling donuts, if you use it properly and keep it adjusted correctly it should be fine.

bowen1100 - August 18, 2010 10:19 AM (GMT)
i should have no trouble with the balls melting into the monster diff cause on mine the monster diff is metal, but the shims out of the diff are missing and i need the back diff part already built so i can just swap over the metal gear and put in straight in without replacing the hole transmission, im just after somwhere where i can buy the back sectsion already built or a place what will put one together for me using my the metal gear from my diff

bowen1100 - August 22, 2010 11:53 PM (GMT)
still need to find somewhere where i can buy the main gear part of the diff already assembled, can anyone help?

Naif01 - August 23, 2010 09:15 AM (GMT)
as per my previous post any shop that has an account with horizon should be able to order the parts........failing that there used to be a website called 'losipartshouse', i think that is what it was called that might be able to help.
